The 183rd Air Assault Realism Unit is a unit based upon a United States Army Air Assault Division. Our main focus is to ensure that our members are having the most realistic experience as possible whilst playing Arma 3. Although we strive for the most realistic experience we also make sure our members are continuously having as much fun as possible.
In the 183rd Air Assault Realism Unit, there are several different MOS/Jobs to choose from within the unit. We have everything from your 11-B Infantryman, 14-R Bradley Crewman, to a fast-flying Combat Aviator. We also have other supporting positions that consist of 12-B Combat Engineer, 89-D Explosive Ordnance Disposal, 11-C Indirect Fire Support, and many more. Overall we have many things here for incoming recruits to choose from. Even if you don't like your first choice you can always switch it up and transfer to something more suitable for you. Our operations are beyond spectacular. We do everything from quick fast-roping operations to the day to day foot patrol around a nearby village or town. When we deploy to a region we are in deployment for three to four months and when we come off of deployment we go into a two month Field Training Exercise Period to enhance our skills and combat effectiveness.
